Happy Spring from your Maple Springs Vineyard Team to our wonderful, loyal Club Members! As we await budbreak in the vineyards, we are happy to report that we are off to a good start to 2023 with increased production, some exciting new releases coming up and restaurant partners back in full swing. We SO appreciate each and every one of our Club Members. You support us, bring us happiness with your enjoyment of our wine, and your friendship is invaluable!

We recently had our first Team Summit of the year and I want to share a few tweaks we are implementing starting at the Spring Blend/Tank Tasting events in a few weeks (details & signups will be emailed tomorrow). As with all businesses, our industry has faced rising costs. We spent a lot of our Summit brainstorming how we can continue to enrich your experience in our Club while practically containing costs to continue to run fresh, interesting, and unique Club Events. I want to share with you what I believe are some steps to achieve those aims.

Going forward, every adult will receive two drink tickets at check-in. After that, wine will be available at the cost of $10 per glass. Our featured tasting remains complimentary as well as any tasting in the production area with Jef. We will accept cash or credit cards at the time of purchase, after you use your two drink tickets. We will still have snacks and non-alcoholic beverages available at no cost.
 

We also wanted to remind you that each Membership is for two people. We operate as a family & friends network Club - we grow when you share your enjoyment of Maple Springs with others! Guest fees beyond two people at any event are $30 per person, which is reimbursed when they join a membership during the event (which we hope you will encourage). This applies to anyone you want to bring, including adult children. This cost does not make us money; it simply covers the cost of the food and alcohol per person. You’ll be able to add them on when you register at any event going forward. There is no cost for guests at Harvest.
 

Lastly, just a reminder that our goal at events (beyond offering an amazing time!) is for you to take home some additional wine. Keep in mind that we’re a wonderful gift when going to a party or dinner with friends, out to a BYO, by the pool…lots of ways to enjoy, spread the word and support your favorite little local winery!

To further enhance the opportunities to learn from Winemaker Jef, we’re going to sprinkle in some unique offerings around the farm. Last year we had an awesome time doing Library Wine tastings in our treehouse. This year we’ll offer a couple Adirondack Lean-To Tastings with archery and pizza making (more details on that later this year). For our RED drinkers, we’ll have an event this summer on the deck with me and Jef to dive deeper into our two newest releases.(note: this event already happened on June 3.) This type of event will be sprinkled throughout the year and are in addition to your Membership - the charge will be based on the event.

We may even have some “bring your own picnics by the pool” and some food truck partners that you pay directly - we have lots of incredible plans to make our membership the best in Pennsylvania. Our goal is to continue to find ways to deliver amazing and diverse Maple Springs experiences for many years to come. Remember, if you are a Winemaker or Founder’s Club member, one of your benefits is a complimentary Tour & Tasting for 8 - take advantage of this benefit and bring your friends and family to introduce them to Maple Springs!

Also, on the staffing front, we have a great addition to Joanne’s restaurant team, Mickael Decoker. Mickael (Mick-ale) is French, a Somm and loves PA and MSV wines…a perfect fit for our team! You’ll also see Mickael behind the bar for most club events - make sure you say hello!
